I'm starting to feel like a real bird lady. I was thinking back to my first semester in college and I remembered that my soriety sisters used to call me Marybird. I wonder if they knew something that I didn't know. I had forgotten all about it until today. Funny the stuff we choose to remember or choose to forget. LOL I had such a good time on the beach today. The weather was spectacular. The beach was void of people, but oh the shorebirds. They are so enjoyable to watch. I could not believe how close I was able to get to the pelicans, the dowitchers, the sanderlings. Oh my. Yes so enjoyable. By the way I did take this picture of the pelican. I hope to add some other photos I took soon.
