HIATIUS - BIG TIME

I've not been back to my blog in a while. I've been mulling over some things, trying to catch up on reading, and just mostly being lazy. I did get my taxes done. I filed for a new passport (my old one expired). I'm going on a "fiscal fast". I'm going to try and not buy anything for 9 days. Absolutely nothing. I think I have too much junk and I don't need more junk. I've also been paring down on items around the house. I do still plan on buying a new camera, but will wait until after the "fast" to make the purchase. It should be an interesting experiment. We had someone make an offer on the house today, but it was so ridiculously low that we said....oh no. Pass. Huh? I mean the guy offered $40K less than we are asking. I can see $5K or so, but $40K less. The market is not that bad here. We don't have to sell, we are not in financial need to sell the house so we can wait it out. I think things will pick up here in late spring. Lots of folks want to be at the beach. The market is not as bad here as it is in some parts of the country. Time will tell. I guess I should wash some windows after all of the rain and put moss out on the roofs. Actually the lawn in back is looking in need of a mow. See always something to do.........or hire someone to do it. Yeah, that sounds good.
